Rebalancing

The key to real change

The key to real change is to consciously sense and feel your body; lovingly feel what there is to feel without judgement, with curiosity and respect. To become aware of (specific) sensations in your body. Because to make something your own, seeing through and analyzing it is not enough. It is also necessary to make contact with it, to experience it in your body. Only then the body unfolds and will let you know how you are, what is going on.
The body is direct and honest and can give you - literally - direction and the messages that you need at that moment.
By consciously feeling your body, you give it the opportunity to give you the messages that you need at that moment. In addition, your self-healing capacity will do its work: gradually healing old pains, injuries and traumas.
Rebalancing, a body-oriented approach, helps you with this.

Your body knows
I believe that inside each of us is a core of living goodness. Living from a free and relaxed state. Acting with passion to be creative again. Being completely who you are and knowing what is really good for you and what is not. Our True Nature.
As adults, we often don't know our true nature. We have - unconsciously - adapted ourselves by holding back, avoiding difficult situations or going all in, out of fear of being hurt. Unfortunately, the body has not let this pass unnoticed.

My wish is that everyone can reconnect, and experience its true nature by unfolding it.
All the ideas and beliefs you have about yourself can be found in your body. The body has stored tensions - often at a deep level - as a result of chronic adapting yourself. This can eventually lead to all kinds of physical and psychological complaints, such as brooding, burn-out, listlessness, insomnia, headaches, muscle pain, breathing problems and depression. There is a big chance that you try to solve your problems with thinking and brooding without any success.

Feeling your body creates space
It is often difficult to really stand still with your feelings and to feel your body. How wonderful would it be if you could reconnect with your body and with yourself. With the help of Rebalancing I can help you to feel your body. On a deeper level you will discover what your body wants to tell you. You will experience that this feeling creates space for change, such as:
  • deep relaxation
  • more personal strength, more grounding
  • increasing your awareness; signaling earlier when something is (not) good for you
  • understanding how psychological and physical complaints have arisen
  • better ability to deal with setbacks and painful situations
  • more in touch with your original nature: you feel and behave more authentically, as you really are
Rebalancing for you
The power of Rebalancing is that it combines bodywork (locating feeling, conscious touch, breathing, bodyflow) with self-exploration (psychological understanding) and meditation (awareness). Touch is the direct path inward; to feeling what is there, both on a mental and emotional level.

Through Rebalancing you will regain a new and more natural balance between thinking and feeling. You will experience that your body and feelings can be special sources to know who you are and what you want or what you do not want (anymore).
