My learning experiences

Ever since I was a child, I had a deep knowing and a trust that I would be okay. This trust disappeared because I - unconsciously - increasingly adapted to others. I developed a strong ability to know what others needed. And I gave it to them at the expense of my own needs. With this I lost contact with my body, my inner world and I permanently tensed up in various places in my body. My high sensitivity, which I only discovered at a much later age, has reinforced all of this.
My high sensitivity, which I only discovered much later in life, reinforced this. Now I understand that this is why I often felt unhappy deep inside.
Heden en verleden
In a difficult period in my adult life when I no longer knew what I wanted and was stuck, Felix Brabander advised me to do Rebalancing. To relax on a deeper level, to be less in my head and to get more in touch with my feelings. I would become who I really am and be able to give direction to my life myself.
Through the combination of bodywork and conversations in the Rebalancing sessions, I became increasingly aware of my body and my (restrained) feelings. I was increasingly able to fully feel and allow these feelings. This allowed me to relax more and I went from thinking and analyzing less to feeling more. I discovered my vulnerabilities and began to realize that they can actually be my qualities. I started to feel what was good for me and what was not.

Rebalancing also supported me during my cognitive therapy. In this I became aware of my redundant protection mechanisms against old pain from the past, in order to then recognize and dismantle them in the present. As a result, I have become more balanced and self-confident.
All my positive experiences with Rebalancing have become my motivations to follow the Rebalancing training and to start a Rebalancing practice.
